In our latest podcast, Sharesify’s Steven Frazer and Ian Conway are joined by long-time friend and colleague James Crux, the latest member of the Sharesify team. The chaps kick-off with a quick spin through Elon Musk’s faster than speeding bullet SpaceX/xAI merger. On Friday it was speculation, by Monday the deal was signed and sealed, although what this might mean for Tesla remains to be seen.

Markets have found a more stable footing after a bumpy week or so, pepped up by more firm earnings both over here and across the pond, with AI darling Palantir (PLTR) catching Steve’s eye, while Ian flags Plus500’s (PLUS) new love of prediction markets.

There are results from Filtronic (FTC) to chat through, Disney’s (DIS) damp showing at the House of Mouse, while James talks Irn Bru fizzy pop, consumer goods and more. He also touches base with trusts trading at a premium to NAV, something of a rarity in recent years.

We have big tech earnings incoming with chip firm Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) this evening, Alphabet (GOOG) and Amazon (AMZN) after the close Weds and Thurs. And there’s more bits and pieces, so join the Sharesify team in our casual chat through stocks, funds, investment trusts, the market mood and all things investing.
